What to bring:

Please bring any X-rays (any other form of imaging such as CT, Ultrasound and MRI), imaging reports and your current ACC number (if applicable). Please allow for 40-45mins for the initial visit.

 

Initial consult:

You will be asked to fill out a health history form which the Chiropractor will discuss with you in detail. You can also fill out an ACC form if your visit is due to an injury.

 

Health History:

The Chiropractor will discuss with you the details of your previous health history and current complaint. This will be followed by a physical examination

 

 

Physical examination:

The chiropractor will perform postural analysis, range of motion testing, orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations (full spinal analysis). This will be followed by a report of findings.

 

Report of findings:

You will be informed as to the diagnosis and whether any further testing is required (X-ray referral etc) to aid in the management of your care. The Chiropractor will discuss with you how the condition can be managed and whether chiropractic is appropriate before initiating care.

 

 

Chiropractic care:

Once the management of your care has been discussed, the appropriate chiropractic techniques will be determined and care will commence.

This will generally involve chiropractic adjustments as well as soft tissue work. Your follow up visit will be discussed before the end of your consult.

 

Follow up visit:

Please allow for 15minutes for your follow up appointment (regular visit). This involves chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue work as well as monitoring the progress of your care.
